Would not mind a bit of serious advice here folks. My contract ends on the 31 of this month and I`m looking for a better deal, Uswitch has come up with this, yet I have never heard of the company. Have anybodt had dealings with `Supply Energy` in the past. Roy

Thanks for the reply Glenda, it seems OK
That was an interesting read Unc, but I was aware of them taking their monthly debit in advance.
I also know by past experience that the change over tends to be somewhat expensive due to paying any unpaid usage.
I have to change to a different supplier because I am not happy with Npower.
Thankyou
Roy

Roy, I was one of the first 50,000 customers (they initially wanted) who registered with Flow Energy about April/May last year. Yes, their splurge did say about making the first payment upfront before you receive gas and/or electricity from them but it never happened to me. My first payment came at the end of the month after receiving their services. They only have one tariff for gas and electricity so no complications on deciding which tariff to opt for, albeit the tariffs do vary across the country. I have been extremely happy with them and have recently extended my fixed tariff with them for another year. Certainly working out cheaper than my previous supplier, Scottish Power. Have a look at their website.

Hi rogerman,
Yes I have looked at their web site but theres nothing better than a recommendation from people who have or are still dealing with them. Going by what I have seen and now your post I will go ahead with it.
Most companies have a get out clause but if your happy with a companies service then it is not an issue, as for payments, that does not matter either, you have to pay whether its before you use the energy or after so that's immaterial also.
Thankyou Roy

We have to pay for our tv licence, vehicle excise duty, vehicle insurance, home insurance, etc., etc., before we make use of the services so why worry about one month`s prepayment for domestic energy. It evens itself out in the end, anyway. I would be very surprised indeed if you don`t find Flow Energy to be very good. They send me a monthly email requesting my meter readings and the account is therefore always up to date so no problems worrying about am I in debt to them, etc. Currently my balance is in credit so no worries about turning up the heating in winter if we have a bad one.

Not worried about the heating, I got a multi fuel stove, burn anything, house is always warm. I only have electricity in the house now so I only have to pay for one energy.
