Talk Talk Line Rental Saver

Anyone who pays their line rental with Talk Talk using their line rental saver is in for quite an increase..

In a general notice to promoters, TalkTalk has advised that the annual cost of their Value Line Rental product will be hiked to £172.20, which is the equivalent of £14.35 per month and compares with the previous equivalent of just £11.75 (total £141). This huge rise puts it only a short distance off TalkTalk’s standard monthly charge of £15.95 and thus somewhat limits the attractiveness of the offer.

Its about time that people are stopped from being held to ransom to have compulsory line rental when they don't use it to make calls.
Everyone doesn't have the option of Virgin Cable in their area.

I wasn't aware of this and I'm with talktalk. Later today I will have to focus my attention on my bills and their website which might lead to a phonecall, thanks.

I am also with TalkTalk and last March paid them £126 for a year's line rental.

From £126 to £172 is one hell of a jump but mind you when I paid £126 if I'd been with BT it would have cost £156. What you gain on the swings you lose on the roundabouts so that is why I don't like bl**dy fairs.

Cuba come renewal I will hold the gun to their head again and see what happens. About 4 years ago I joined TalkTalk plus, Unlimited broadband and all calls, except to mobiles, included with 1 years connection at 50% off. With my yearly line rental £126 I paid £9.25 per month.

4 Years later and I'm still paying £126 and £9.25 per month and always have been. You see it pays to talk to TalkTalk.

Peter, all my intentions out of the window. After dinner I went upstairs, sat on the bed for a while, decided to lay down, wifey came up and covered me up......................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ! almost three hours later and I know I won't sleep tonight.

But, like you, I have always negotiated with TT. There is a guy who is a talktalk representative who responds to questions, gives suggestions, on www.moneysavingexpert.com look in the Phones & TV thread. Also, don't forget there is the forum on www.talktalkmembers.com/ I think I am right in saying they can implement things. One thing I don't like about TT, is having to talk to Singapore or wherever.

Not much of a offer now then am going to tel talktalk am leaving to see what incentive they offer to stay with talktalk if nothing virgin here I come
