"but infinity has a starting point therefore has to have an end" It depends on the way that you look at things. We tend to look at things from our own perspective. For example, we end up anthropomorphising aliens. Take a mobius strip and start walking along it (as an ant would for example) To the ant, it would appear as infinite because it would never come to an end. For us looking at the ant on his travels, we would say that he returns to where he started from. Since distance is covered over time to give us an idea of velocity, and gravity warps space/time (and so by extension-distance) infinity ceases to be a length question because time has to be included in the equation. This leads on to added dimensions. A pint, bag of crisps and a fistful of wet change please! (A nod to the other Moore there- Ray, not Patrick) 'jo. e&oe Or you could call the ants movement as perpetual because they will not stop unless some outside force stops them, but I do like the post. I do agree that what half the space wizards tell us is wishful thinking on their behalf and a load of Bo**ocks to me. Going back to what Allan was saying that the universe is expanding. It has to have room to expand so how big is this void?? The outer edge of our solar system is 21,499,783,050 Km. away. So I assume that is the radius, therefore the Square area is phenomenal yet on this scale to get to the farthest regions of the observable universe, another 435,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 km (Now its impossible to imagine the square area of that,)or 46 billion light years away. (I googled it) www.bbc.co.uk/bbc.com/future/bespoke/20140304-how-big-is-space-interactive/index.htmlAnd the powers to be reckon there is planets farther out than this. So where do it end And I thought an eclipse was brilliant. Never mind Ratae, the rabbit season starts in a few weeks. Have you got your ferret and Terrier boxes ready. Just finished making my mate replacements, he gets excited around this time. Roy

Season...Wabbits! Wabbits are classed as vermin Roy, as such they don't have a season. I don't have any terriers, and Nob is the man for ferrets, what wiv him being a clog wearing northern lad and all. But anyway, hunting with animals is cheating. I'm a stalking and shooting fella, as crafty as a fox and blindingly accurate with a rifle! Modest about it too!
