Do you "streetview"?. I do especially since they're updating. There is a website that tells us which countries are being, updated which for once I didn't need as I was googled recently as the google car passed by. "My bit" has arrived on screen yet though. Something you might not know, is that in the top left of the streetview screen, is a tiny clock and slider bar. Where they have updated, you can use the slider bar to see the view recorded each time they have filmed there. If you use this example www.google.co.uk/maps/place/City+of+London,+Greater+London/@51.480999,-0.111803,3a,75y,80.06h,89.17t/data=!3m5!1e1!3m3!1sI2g79DTJK2D_vrNhDS772g!2e0!5s2012-07!4m2!3m1!1s0x487603554edf855f:0xa1185c8d19184c0?hl=en it shows the scene 2008---------2012 Maybe your house has been googled more than once

Hi Cuba, I keep comming back to this and for the life of me I can't see this clock and slider in the top left corner! Your long link takes me to "Prima Road London" ...yes? There are trees on the left of the picture, and I thought maybe this clock thingy is hiding behind the Compass,...but even with full screen view, I still can't see the clock. Is it something you have to activate like in Google labs? I have the measuring tool activated but can't see this option anywhere!

No, what I will do is to give you a link that explains better than I could and no doubt there will be some location examples. tech.firstpost.com/news-analysis/google-lets-you-travel-back-in-time-with-new-clock-tool-for-street-view-222383.html

Thanks for that, interesting....but still unable to use/see it!
Edit: just thinking about it, Perhaps it's because I'm restricted to IE 9 with Vista! Might try FF and chrome later , see if it works there!

Decided to come back and try to sort this out for you . Here is a link showing a section of Blackpool. It isn't the same view as below, as I lost the original, but the effect is there. No, can't do it, keep losing the link. At the top left, was a clock which I clicked. A pop-up box window appeared showing the same scene and beneath, a 2008-2010-2012 slider. When you slide the button along, the scenes filmed in each of the years, changes slightly to show what it was like then/now. I would suggest you select any location in the UK and notice if the clock is top left. One street in Swanage has been "done" five times according to the clock. If the link fails, then I have a screen shot here (hopefully).

Thanks for that cuba, I've just tried it using FF and lo and behold, there it is in all it's glory! That's really good, I should use FF or Chrome more, just too lazy to change I suppose!
