So, does anyone have a clue as to why the rug was pulled from under ??
Or was it just a volumes thing,,, not enough traffic to justify 2 web sites in operation maybe?

Hi Ian, welcome to The Squatters, you've always given such excellent advice over at t'other place, I'm sure your experience will be welcomed here. Why was the rug pulled from under CA ? Well they obviously realised they could never compete with this forum.  |

That could take days I know coz I tried it. You can see the problem with that, they would piss off. They said it was to stop spam, but I think they were winding it down. All was OK there till Allen and Royal were made admin and it was taken over by incisive media. Profit is the name of the game and moderating a forum was way down the list of priorities so in the end it had to go. IMO web user will be the next. |
