I am absolutely convinced that the fizio girl, learned her trade at the old East German Stazi interrogation centre. Yep good int they. When I had physio on my back, a while back now, a little Irish nurse did it . She was only knee high to a grasshopper but she damned well cured my back for me, eventually. You do have to go through the torture but it, usually, works in the end.

Anyway, I can officially announce that badge production has been temporarily suspended. This is due to me having this afternoon, spent over an hour in the torture chamber at the LRI, which they cynically call a "Shoulder Clinic"I am absolutely convinced that the fizio girl, learned her trade at the old East German Stazi interrogation centre. Keep up the physio Rats, its the only way you will get owt like full movement back. It will still play you up after that from time to time. I know, I am living with it. I'll tell yer what breaks my heart Dinky, back in the day I used to play basketball for the tech college team. Well, one of the exercises is to score baskets, although with an admittedly heavier ball. Can't do it, I shoot baskets like a soppy 11 years old girl........ 'Cos my left arm/shoulder is much stronger than my right, the ball is all over the place. It's embarrassing!

I'm hoping that he finally discharges me, and gives me the ok to get back on my bike. Just have to stop falling off the damned thing, or as my two sons put it "Dad, you ain't 20yrs old anymore, so don't go tearing around on it like a big kid"

I vaguely recall buying C/A once. It was so long ago that I think it was very soon after it began to publish. I remember thinking that I really did not like the format (seemed too bland and generalised) so I stuck with Micromart and Computer Shopper. I haven't purchased a computer magazine in years. I used to take Linux Format and The Linux Magazine, but they just revolved around the latest distros so it got expensive by duplication. I used to use Slackware in those days (and still would) but then the Redmond mob came out with XPee. Saved their bacon it did. I still keep a really old Tosh lappy with Slack on it for the occasional need. Good old Patrick Volkerding...
