At least when I was a kid there was the odd Polish man who came when the Germans invaded in 1939. Now you cant move for em. Just had a letter inviting me to apply for fuel allowance because I was born before July 52, duly done, that's £200 for some bottles gas/leccy.  |

Now that it is in the system the payment just gets transferred in my bank account annually. Nob are you drawing the state pension yet? Maybe it changes to my way only if you are pension age, I can't remember. |

No not yet Peter Ive 3 years to go, Im lucky enough to get the new higher pension, I nearly dipped out but they brought in forward a year so Im eligible.  |
