Any of you guys used the Skipdoctor? Been thinking of getting one and I want to know how good they are.
Craig.

Hi Craig
If it's a CD with a few scratches that stop it working, I use a little bit of Toothpaste on a little bit of soft cloth and gently rub the scratches in a circular motion, then with a slightly wet cloth wipe the toothpaste of and try the disc to see if it plays and keep doing a little bit at a time until it plays. Which mostly it does. But don't do it on a DVD as it erases the pictures.

Hi Jal & Nob. I've used toothpaste on CD's but not on DVD's. (I should have said this in my first post. D'oh).
After reading the reviews, I'll give the SkipDr a go and let you know how I get on. Thanks for your help.
Craig.

Well Nob & Jal, after having used the Spin Doctor on a few DVD's, I can honestly say, what a load of crap. I tried it on a DVD that had a very slight scratch on it & apart from cleaning my grubby fingerprints off, the disk was just the same after several tries of the SkipDr. Don't waste your money on this system, save your pennies and take your disk to somewhere that does professional disk repairing. (I think Game does it). Or buy a new replacement disk. It's for sale at £20 if anyone want's it? Craig.
