I have Opera version 12 installed and don't use it much so yesterday I thought I would install version 21 which is a totally different interface etc and try it out Its very good, its fast and smooth. Its similar to Chrome in many ways.I am still customising it but first impressions are very good.It hasn't got the range of add ons that Firefox has but there's enough for my needs.

Opera 12 is still my choice on the PC despite the supposed security concerns. Later versions are built on the Chrome engine. I don't care for the "My First Computer / Windoze 8 style tiled bookmarks implementation of the Opera = Chrome effort. Firefox has the upper there compared to the new Opera. Looking for a silver lining in the cloud that has enveloped my preferred browser, the "updates" on Android are half the size of Chrome's (upon which it's based as stated) In time, Opera 12 will have become untenable as a viable prospect as a browser. Then I'll jump ship to the new Opera because I'm welded to the twin mouse button navigation facility. (I assume every one knows what I mean by that? I don't mean mouse "gestures")
You could say that I'm in denial and with good justification, but my preferences just don't extend to include Firefox. Firefox is just another browser. Each have their strengths and all are worth keeping as part of an amoury. Type <opera:config> into the URL of an Opera window or tab, and then come back and tell me again about Firefox's configurability.
Whatever else, I seem to get by using Opera 12 so it seems that Smudge and Phil aren't the only Opera (ab)users! I only EVER use IE to configure my router because both Opera and FF fall over there (although I haven't tried the new OperaChrome on it.)
Perhaps I should just paint a target on my Tee shirt. ;<D

Been using Opera for a while and the bugs that were there before seem to have been ironed out. I like the stash bit similar to bookmarks.

Been using it a few days now and all seems good.It is very much based on Chrome.I was using Chrome before hand so find it quite easy to find my way around. One thing I have noticed is it uses less cpu then other browsers on my computer.
