Hi guys is there any way i can speed up my internet? im running W7 - 4gb ram on Chrome here is my speed test of my current speeds which is a joke

I thought mine was bad. get onto your ISP. If your using a router wirelessly make sure its password protected.

Try connecting with the ethernet cable via the main phone socket.This is usually what an isp will tell you to do before they run line tests.They won't take responsibility for any home done extensions in your home.

Bought it from PCW IIRC Bought it so that I could connect either my Linux lappys at 'set up', without being next to the router ...... or when I was installing a new o/s on one of my pal's machines.

Another thing make sure anything plugged into a phone socket goes through a filter. sky box etc.

ive now connected my router via Ethernet cable directly and changed provider - ping is 16 (whatever that is) download is 65.53 and upload is 12.37

When using the common speed testing pages you most likely won't get the right results as they love to measure speeds at their home servers, mostly the US.
You can ping a website which is located in the UK, like the bbc and calculate.
