Pssssssst.....don't tell Nob! Not bothered cos I don't fall into the target group. Do people still use XP. As I understand it, very few business's bothered upgrading to W7 or W8. Apparently there was little to gain by upgrading to W7, and W8 is basically for tabloids innit..... Anyway, that's why MS has continued it's XP updates for 'business users' (I think)

I think business XP users are still able to get updates for XP.

Well, I've virtually made my mind up anyway, that it's likely that the puters I have now, will be the last windows ones that I ever buy! Yep, having messed about with Linux for a while, I've decided that for my needs, Linux will do the job nicely. Ok, some of the Linux softwear might not be as sophisticated as the Linux stuff, but the Linux softwear still gets the job done, plus it's free! Errrr, not that I actually pay for the Windows stuff, but that's not the point innit. The point is, I'm SUPPOSED to pay for it, and that offends my sensitivities. As you know, I'm a very sensitive chap! Let's face it, Mac users seem to get along alright, and basically, they are paying a premium for good marketing and what is admittedly, a very attractive looking product. However...it seems to me that although Macs and Linux may not exactly be brothers, they are first cousins. Macs just come with lots of bells and whistles it seems to me, and very expensive bells and whistles too Just saying like!
