I've had a notification twice recently that an Adobe Flash player update is available, I click on install and am taken to the website, which opens completely blank. If I google for the update, it again opens the webpage completely blank.
Is anyone else having this or are they picking on me again?

Mine updates automatically when I accept the notice given on screen. I never have to go to a download page.

clicked on that link, the adobe download page opened then immediately went blank, so just as before. However a bit more research tells me that my browser, which is Google Chrome, updates adobe automatically so maybe I already have it and thats why it won't download again

Hi Anne
If you go to Control Panel and click on Control Panel Home (not Classic View)- click on Programs - Programs and Features - you will see Adobe Flash Player 13 there.

It says I have Flash Player 12, but, see here : Adobe Flash Player is directly integrated with Google Chrome and enabled by default. Available updates for Adobe Flash Player are automatically included in Chrome system updates.
If you want to use Adobe Flash Player in other browsers, you’ll need to separately download the Adobe Flash Player for those browsers.
So it seems that as long as I am using only Chrome, I don't need to bother, and if I want to use any other browser I will need to install it

Hi Anne Well that's one problem solved as long as you have Google Chrome on board

The difference is that Adobe Flash (Shockwave)installs as a plug-in on Firefox, it probably installs a 'standalone' on other browsers.
However, I think I read somewhere that FF and Adobe are soon going to change the present arrangement. I'll check up on it!

I've been working on a computer with the same problem Anne and the only thing that helped was removing google search so I would try using revo uninstaller to remove Google Crome then install it again it's worth a try.
