Because of changes that are being made on Flickr as a result of changes in the relationship between BT and Yahoo, it appears that our Flickr pages are going to become plastered with ads. At the moment anyone using BT as their ISP gets a 'free' Pro Account on Flickr, but this is about to change. One of my Flickr contacts has suggested that using AdBlockPlus should stop the ads. Does anyone use this particular add-on ? Or are there better alternatives ?

Not tried any other ad blockers. Craig.

I use Adblock and find it very good.Tbh I don't think there is much difference between Adblock and Adblock+
Using Chrome Adblock has slightly more 5* reviews than Adblock+ but both rated very highly
There is also Adblock for Youtube which blocks ads on videos.

On the more recent versions of Firefox I have found Adblock Edge slightly more effective than Adblock Plus.
Just sayin.... dum de dum

My adblock plus caused a few problems recently, so took it off, searched deeper and found adblock super and now that is doing it's stuff.
