It says its still open JJ but you never know with all the cutbacks.

Yep, it's still open but atm the road (Lancaster Rd) is closed. Summat to do with work being done to the nearby Uni building.......... I think.
A couple of my pals lived in those station houses when JJ was traing there. Two of them I was at school with and played with in the same 'house' rugby team.
It's was also the home of the sleigh hauled by Rudolph each Xmas in aid of childrens charities,

I've seen quite a lot of F/Stations and I reckon this is the grandest looking building used as a F/Station and Tower I've seen.
