Hi Gang,
About a month ago my son with his smartphone and my grand daughter with her tablet could key in my TalkTalk router's password and go online. Suddenly neither of them could get online using my router. I didn't knowingly change any of mu router's settings so what changed because obviously something did?
Can anybody help?

Probably you 'unknowingly' changed some of your router's settings innit!

Check your routers settings and your log-in password.Has their been a firmware update that perhaps could have altered something?
If anythings changed contact your isp.

Peter, see the link I posted on 20th under E E heads up, if its any help Thanks Dinky but I got in touch with TalkTalk and an "engineer" could see I hadn't any wireless connection set up in my router. He told me to hold the WPS router button down for 3 or 4 seconds and it should reset. He says it has reset but I'll have to take his word for it until my son or grand daughter drop by. By the way I never knew talkTalk had a personnel button on their routers. WPS = William Peter Smyth or is it Wi Fi protected setup

Peter mine did it tother day, It reverted to the default settings and I customise mine. Log onto the router then change the network name (SSID) and wireless password to what it was. help2.talktalk.co.uk/setup-support/how-do-i-find-or-change-my-wireless-network-name-and-passwordThe WPS button is pressed and then the router is looking to connect to another device with a WPS button, press that and the two will connect. Its supposed to be easier than looking for the SSID of the network and entering the password, but I don't use it cos I aint another device with a WPS button.
