Hi all, went to the hospital yesterday and was told that my kidney functions are stable at the moment and I've lost 7Kg since Dec 5 without even trying to lose weight.
I'm hoping that seeing as my kidney's are stable, I wont have to have dialysis anytime soon.
Craig.

That sounds quite positive Craig, keep your weight down, I'm sure that will help. My one remaining kidney (the other was removed about 10 years ago) is giving a few signs of not performing quite as well as it should. I have to go for scans and tests later this month. So I guess I can imagine how you're feeling. Good luck pal.

That's good to hear Craig I bet that's a weight of your mind. The weight loss is a bonus, keep it off. Best of luck with the tests Alan.

My pal AW and my ex SIL have both had a kidney removed to to cancer. Both of them are doing well running on one. AW has lost a fair bit of weight since he began cycling, still a bit porky, but that's down to his unquenchable thirst! Anyway.....good luck you pair with your treatment. If you really run into trouble, you can both have one of Smudgers. Ratty the generous.

My niece was born with one kidney and is now something like 23 and in rude good health...
Good news anyway Craig and all fingers crossed for you too Alan. Steve.
