Just heard that John Fortune of "Bremner,Bird and Fortune" fame had passed away. I'm really sorry to hear this, their sketches were (imo) one of the funniest things on tv, often had me holding my sides with hysterical laughter. Their brand of gentle mocking satire, was brilliantly scripted and equally cleverly performed. I doubt that we'll see their kind again.  An example > |
