Hi Weaver Hows that is that what you would like ? Have you missed something out Jal? Edit: Jal I wasn't being rude, I just couldn't understand your reply. However, after seeing Wee Tam appear as my avatar, I went back to have another look at your reply, and this time got the message. First time round I just could not see, this: "Hows that, is that what you would like", as meaning, this: "Hows that? Is that what you would like? Had I seen that you had made Wee Tam my avatar before I replied, there would have been no problem. Thank you so much x 10

allachie9 said: "I thought all brides wore white" . . .Usually yes, but on this occasion, white didn't match her tackety boots and I wanted her to finish building the garden shed instead of coming to the reception. Seemed a bit peeved at the time. Wonder why? On re-reading my own post, I realize that it was a bit harsh. I should have said that I did take her back a doggie bag including a piece of wedding cake and bought her a can of Guiness to wash it down. Allachie9 offered to take a photo of my mother-in-law but forgot to bring his wide angle lens.

Hi Weaver
I've only just got back in the house.
I thought I would do your Avatar for you as a Surprise before I left the house this morning.
Wasn't sure what you would say when you saw it.

What a brilliant post Bob But getting back to your point about why your bride was wearing dungarees . . . . I agree, I don't see why she should have been peeved at missing The Reception, after all you had already done her the considerable honour in taking her as your bride. The doggie-bag should have been the clincher, but maybe she expected more. Did you not think of offering her the money to go and get herself a fish supper, after finishing the shed ? ps. that's some ferocious mother in law you've got there.
