Anyone used toothpaste to clean a misty plastic headlight.

Nob, I did try toothpaste once to clean a scratched CD, so maybe it will work on the same principal.

Been looking on tinternet Arch, there are some vids on youtube showing toothpaste. Its worth a try.

They do something that looks like toothpaste here, just for cleaning headlight lenses.

I've also heard - but never tried it - that you can use the inside of a banana skin.

Brasso Wadding, what used to be called Duraglit, also works apparently.

I can remember when I used to wet shave - I've been using electric shaver for the past 35 or so years - someone said that shaving foam was good for removing stains from a carpet. I tried it on a red wine stain and you know what! It got rid of it!! And that's the stuff I had been using on my face........No wonder I look old.

If you Spill Red Wine on a carpet for example pour some White Wine on it and it takes the stain out of the carpet the Red Wine made

For red wine, salt is another weapon of choice (once you have blotted out the excess)
Might take several applications in the first instance, and then it gradually sucks the stain out. It's best to use a smorgasboard of techniques with a red wine spill, and the white wine ruse is probably one of the best.

Well toothpaste certainly helps had a go this morning and it looks much better.

I brew 25ltr 5 gal of both for less than £25 each.
