Yesterday I bought something at tesco and had to register with them. On giving them my address, after the street name it asked what was the nickname of our street. I have never heard of such a thing so I ignored it, only to be told it was essential, so I entered 'Tosspot street' and it was accepted!! Have you ever come across anything like that? Very strange to me, but my order is on it's way.

Anyway...the next time it happens, when they tell you that it's 'essential', just say "Ok ,that'll do", and then enter "Essential Avenue" Sorted
