Ratarse a.expecting a horde of immigrants come 1st Jan 2014 Come 1st Jan 2014 in the above statement means from 1st Jan 2014. I thought even the "I use English as my 2nd language" peeps would know the meaning of it but I can see how wrong I was because an indigent English user doesn't know the meaning but he's my best friend.  so I can't take the pi**. |

"The potential impact of Romanians achieving full UK employment rights next year."
Should be interesting if only to see that the BBC is as left wing as some of our drinkers claim.

Should be interesting if only to see that the BBC is as left wing as some of our drinkers claim. It says they are visiting a village where all the men have come over here. That's before the flood gates open. Im afraid I will have to give it a miss. We may need the telly tomorrow. |

ITV news at 6.30 are doing destination Britain all week. Just been to Romania and they say they wont be coming for benefits just work. That's a relief then. Do they think we are all idiots  |

Well what with me being a fair and open minded minded sort of fella, I thought I'd take a little peek at it. Especially what with me being the self appointed, and completely politically unbiased news correspondent of the 'Squatters Times"  So, the first thing that I noticed was that this was a bbc program. (bad start)The second thing that I quickly realised, was that the program presenter was married to a Romanian burd. The third thing I realised was that I'd sat on the tv remote, specifically the 'OFF' button. That also happened to be the exact moment, when episode twelve of the third season of 'Homeland' finished downloading. I'm therefore reluctantly forced to abandon my post, pour myself a large (very) Bells and spend the next hour or so, checking the quality of that previously mentioned download. Just saying (hic) |
