CON by name,CON by nature.... He won't do NOTHING. Immigration is UP,not down as promised. The EU is just a bottomless cash cow that we don't need to be part of. You can still trade with other countries without being in some European dictatorship......other non EU countries manage just fine. Phil I get the impression that even if Cameron gave you a personal £100,000 grant you'd be looking for ways to not accepting it. How anti Tory can you get without explaining how everything, in your mind, a Tory government does is wrong. For Christ's sake Thatcher saved us from Union rule and Scargill and for that the whole of Britain, outside the mining community, should be eternally thankful. Phil even you should see a Union leader, Scargill, should not use his members welfare in a political foray to bring down a government. That's a fight he lost and the NUM are still paying for their mistaken loyalty to a political animal who was not the best Union welfare leader. Phil and arch I really don't know were you're coming from? What exactly do you want from a government?

One that will
1/ release any hold the EU has over us.
2/Stop continued immigration/migration......migration from EU countries can't be stopped till No1 has been addressed.
3/ Close our borders to any form of immigration until we have got shut of all who shouldn't be here, then manage immigration properly
4/Stop giving billions in foreign aid to countries that don't even need it.
5/ Rewrite Human Rights laws so that every scrote in this country can be sent back to their own countries without being able to get expensive lawyers(which the taxpayer pays for)to keep appealing and getting government decisions overturned by some crackpot judge who is using these antiquated laws to get them off The No1 thing that concerns the majority of British people is immigration, and yes I blame labour for most of this, the floodgates opened in Jan 2000 and have stayed up since. We are a small land mass at the side of Germany,France and Spain to name a few,yet we have the largest numbers of asylum seekers immigrants/migrants coming here because..
They know we give them something for doing nothing, which they cannot get in their own countries.
So Peter, anyone will do this will get my vote.

3/ Close our borders to any form of immigration until we have got shut of all who shouldn't be here, then manage immigration properly I agree with them all Slight alteration to No3, close borders to immigration full stop. Them that are here legally are multiplying all the time, country's choking and needs to breathe.

One that will 1/ release any hold the EU has over us. Phil I can go along with that and so does posh Dave but that doesn't necessarily mean leaving the Common Market just leaving the European Community. I'm with you there too Phil although it would be hard to stop immigrants who had a guaranteed job waiting for them. With you there too but also not stopping all foreign aid Posh Dave is already writing a British Human Rights white Paper Posh Dave wants to reduce immigration massively but but that dead weight on his shoulder, Clegg, doesn't want to have severe immigration procedures because he is a Liberal. Phil the conservatives want every thing you've written above but somehow I can't see you voting for them. ;D

If they did do all those things I have stated I would have no problem voting for them but they won't so I won't We'll never know just right now Phil because the Conservative party ain't running the country so it can't do anything the Lib/Dems don't like and the lib/dems almost have an incestuous relationship with the EU. .

A white paper you know as well as i do it will take years for it to bear fruit and when it does absolutely shag all will be done about it ;D If a government wants it can push a white paper thru the commons pretty quickly. All it is is a statement of government policy that they intend to make part of the legal frame work and is open to discussion and amendment and since neither main party wants the European Bill of Human Rights to be part of the UK legal system it should get thru parliament pretty quickly unless the Labour party shoot themselves in the foot just to score a silly point.
