Well the new proposed dustbin tax has been scrapped.. Is it because all the new Tory councils will not collect it for him.

If that's all he can come up with to win favour, he's got no chance It was a stupid idea in the first place, would never work without providing everybody with lockable bins, otherwise people would be sneaking about in the middle of the night distributing their spare rubbish round all the neighbours. Cutting petrol tax in half would be a much better idea

History will tell us that the defining moment for browns demise was the removal of the 10p tax for the poorest of the population. Many trying to earn instead of scrounging
When this man said on sky news that" the way forward in helping the low paid was tax credits "
I think that statement really showed what he and his goverment amounted to
Pander to the rich and corporate greed

I think that this useless bunch are 'In denial' (should really be 'In the Nile') I keep hearing them banging on about this 10p tax business as if that was the ONLY rickett that they've made!!! No mention of them robbing the pension funds, nothing about uncontrolled immigration or the breakdown of law and order! Nothing to do with them selling peerages or Prescott et al nobbing anything they can get their grubby hands on is it? Nope....put the 10p thingy right and the rest will be forgotten they reckon! Yea Right!!!! When 'good Friday' falls on a Tuesday it will!!!!!!

True there are many ,but the abolition of the 10% tax defines the end of an era of lies coruption and self intrest
By the goverment that should be serving us not themselves
The 10% tax was the straw that broke the back of the sheeple, god bless em

Hi all you non economists
All this moaning about the extra taxes the motorist, roadusers, are having to pay and demanding to cut them is fine except for one thing.
The chancellor draws up a budget in which he has to balance the financial income against his planned monetary out goings.
So if he cuts motorists tax he has to make up that shortfall somewhere else so members of the public will still be paying what the motorist will save so nobody's a winner.
To be a winner the government elected must spend less because that is the only way taxes can be cut.
Now that's not as bad as it sounds because spending less is the same as spending wisely, weeding out the benefit fraudsters and not throwing money at lost causes, single mothers by their deliberate choice.

Well Smudger the chancellor can start spending less of MY money by...NOT giving it to somali couples that don't speak a word of English who have come here with their five kids! Here in Leicester there is a city centre estate full of them. You can see them coming out of the supermarket laden with groceries, pushing £200 pushchairs, the husband with a mobile clamped to his ear! Who's paying for that lot then!!! Behind them is possibly one of our own pensioners wondering if she could really afford that pack of sausages that she's just bought! What I want to know is wtf has Somalia got to do with me! As far as I'm aware it wasn't even in the commonwealth and as sure as f*ck it ain't in Europe! Now look what you've done...got me well wound up!!!!
