Peter
How true Peter when I was a kid we were always outside making our own entertainment,
Its surprising what a bit of imagination and a few wooden boxes can become! a tank/bus/truck and all the kids on the street used to play together.
We used to block the road off and all of use would play rounders
They were good days

As youngsters, my brother and I decided to parachute. The wind was blowing in our faces as we stood on the flat roof about eight feet high. We each had a sheet, one end tied round the waist and a corner in each hand held high up. I jumped first..........it hurt like hell !!

Addie What can I say? Not a lot and still appear sober. You're being polite Peter and thanks for that. You might have said "You dozey pair of #@+%$&s. " Needless to say, a sobering lesson was learned.

cantankerous (comparative more cantankerous, superlative most cantankerous)
Stubborn, cranky, surly, ill-humored,irritable Fletch are you saying I'm:- a. stubborn. Definitely not because I've changed my mind frequently on being offered a pint, b. Cranky. How the hell does starting motors the old fashioned way relate to me? c.surly. no way I keep my cream in the fridge. d. ill-humored. who posts loads of jokes in this forum? e. irritable how the hell do you know I'm abnormally sensitive to a stimulus? Even I don't know And nob's right about the word little as well because he got my height right. Fletch your just jealous because a message with your username as the title never ran to 7 pages the 1st 6 of which I never posted in. Jesus it might still be running if a dickhead monitor hadn't closed it

Hi ! I read the thread that Fletch posted from 2007 on CA about Peter - it was good ! I noticed deleted video links and also that Peter was banned at that point ? I am quite new to forums; I joined CA because I read the mag' and had a problem and then I got more and more interested. Then I was invited over to this exemplary (don't worry; a couple more halves of Strongbow and I won't be able to manage words like that !) establishment by Fletch. I'm still at CA because the 'psychology' is interesting and of course, it's a bigger forum, so there are more topics in progress. I'm "in" for the learning experience. Here, it's nice because people seem to be friends and when they take the piss, it's in a good spirit and nobody's putting anybody down. I think that "smaller is better" (CUE FOR VERY RUDE JOKES !) When things get too big, they get out of hand (CUE FOR MORE VERY RUDE...etc.,etc!) Have a nice weekend and...Welcome to mikec !

Hi Elizabeth, Peter wasn't actually banned when that post was live, it was before the forum had moderators, and to be honest, more or less anything went
But we seemed to mainly rub along together nicely without any outside interference.
I don't understand why Peter is still there with 'banned' under his name, other people who have had a lifetime ban appear as 'guest'
