Thanks Dinky, the Mrs is going to get some more cash out to change, we will then be well covered, any left will go towards next year. I was looking at Trip advisor, we are off to Rhodes and no mention of those boat people, and a reviewer who just came back from Kos said its the media hyping the problem they didn't have any problems.  |

Thanks Dinky, it could take 18 month for the Drachma to be reinstalled, that's good for me. I see the average couple spends £500 in cash on a fortnight's holiday.  Don't they drink. Got some sterling so we may take it instead of pissing about here. Like you say we may get more Euros for it over there. |

Usually when we go away we go "all inclusive" which covers drinks. You should have seen the print out after the last cruise, in the end the staff just walked past us when they came back there was a fresh supply of drink, half the time we never had to ask.
The next one is also all inclusive.

We went to one hotel a few years ago where they took your room numbers for the drinks, I settled up on a daily basis, It was a lot.  |

All inclusive costs a bit more, but you do not have to worry about the booze bill.
