Not sure if this is the right place but here goes.....
Vista has a game 'chess titans' which unfortunately is not compatible with xp. I tried to run it in xp without success. This is a very well presented game and it's a crying shame that it will only work with vista. Does anyone know of a decent chess game download? Free would be nice but I'll look at anything worthwhile.
Many thanks

Thanks mohammeduk22. That seems a bit drastic to me. That's not a route I can afford to take although that game has a lot going for it.

You're dead right there fletch. I guess I'm just going to have to carry on using' the little womans' laptop. This just enforces the 'quid pro quo' so it's probably to be another day out at' Brid' I suppose.....Oh well!

I think I'll just keep looking. I'm not sure about dual boot.

Its much simpler than you think.I downloaded RC off Microsoft>burnt that> G-parted Live>burnt that.Created partition then installed RC.You get an option every time you switch on what OS you want to start.

Hi peter, you cocky sod. You're fast becoming the animator of animators. I like that one!! It would be appropriate except for the fact that I have used dual boot when I had 98 and xp on the old pc. What I really meant was I'm not sure I want another os taking up space on my hdd. Now if I was as clever, I'd fashion a smiley with a bright spark above it.
