I've found something here, don't know whether this might help: If you try powering on, and pressing F8, the boot menu should appear. See if you can get into 'System Recovery Options'. I know it must be frustrating at present. I am also conscious of the fact that you will have documents, media, programs etc already on there and the last thing you would want is to lose any / all of that. If anyone else has any suggestions, go ahead. It's been a long time since I last used W7, and I don't recall having to do any repair procedures back then, so..........
