Since the latest 10 upgrade I am unable to log into the Squatters Arms without signing in even though I click on the remember box each time. Please tell me how to get back to being remembered?! Thanks guys. TB

I don't know what browser you're using, but even if I tick 'remember me' on the sign-in (with Opera), I still have to log in every time.

Hello Matt many thanks for that quick return very kind of you. I have always stuck with Google/Chrome and never signed in repeatedly. One other exception now is Imgur who ask for it now. TB

Hi I don't use Chrome that much at the moment on this PC. The only time I would is via my smartphone (daft really, I should probably ditch Opera anyway on the PC). I'm replying now from Chrome, and it has remembered my username and password from the last time, but I still have to tell it manually to sign in. (Isn't it better that way anyway in terms of security?)

We don't use Internet Explorer (as I've heard it's not that secure any more). The only other browser on here is Firefox (which I haven't tried it with).
Doesn't this forum (like most others) sign you out after a while anyway?

I use either chrome on a lenovo laptop,or silk which is the chrome derivative used by amazon,on my small amazon fire tablet. In both cases, once I'm signed in,I stay in till I sign out, even if it's a few days between visits on the laptop. The only sites that I've had to sign in for each visit are of the banking and credit card variety and I'd be a bit worried if that wasn't the case. I don't let the machines store my passwords, and sign out of those that I visit only occasionally. With a password protected device,I think that that's ok,since no one else uses them, and they stay at home except for holidays.

Until recently I had to log in every time on my lappy whereas the desktop stored the data. Just noticed that I no longer have to login on the lappy now.
