No problems on my desktop so far when it updated. Lappy has not updated yet even though I looked for the update.

I updated an ex-works laptop to W10, but I declined the desktop update. Turns out that you have the 30 days cooling off period to roll back, but after that it's goodnight Vienna if you should want to put W7 back on- even if you start with a fresh fixed disk. I've had it with all that M$ malarkey. You're OK with a clean install of W10, you can install W7 again should you want to, but not from the "free" W10 upgrade. I figure it's related to product activation. Once activated on W7 or W10, they have your hardware hash and that's that if you took the upgrade. If you don't care about such things then that's fine, but at the end of the day, clean installs are still always preferable to upgrades, especially from Redmond.

I'm waiting until it is delivered via automatic updates.

It downloaded and tried to install and at the end went back to the previous windows, so that didn't work for me. It doesn't like something on this setup. Like you Geoff I'll see when it comes as an update.

My last W10 download went without any problems, so like both of you I'll wait until the proper update come through.

Like you Geoff I'll see when it comes as an update. The update has been a balls up from day one, i'm glad it was pulled before my system was updated.

It does make you wonder how they can muck the updates up so much as that's what they are supposed to be experts at doing.

They couldn't have done much testing prior to the release it's been nearly 2 months since they released and then pulled it.

I took the anniversary update, apart from the inordinate amount of time it took, all seems well. It replaced all the shortcut arrows that I routinely remove, so that wasn't too welcome. I had to remove them again. I don't know about you lot, but a tiny arrow to indicate that an icon is a shortcut look as though they nicked the idea from the Early Learning Centre.
