I had a problem at first installing Windows 10 on both my machines, my Sons & mine, but that was only due to all the Stardock software that manipulates Windows. So I decided for all the hassle to do a clean install and only put the PS and its updates on, until I got the window sign in the bottom right and it worked both to mine and my Sons. After 2 failed attempts it actually worked. I then re-installed software including most Stardock software and everything is fine. As for cortana, I've never used iton the PC, but if you have a webcam it will use that. Saying that I've got a Windows phone and if I start by saying message/my sons name it gets stuck at his name ( having a broad Glasgow accent, even trying in a plain English accent), but if I reply a message from my Son, it succeeds, its hit or miss for me anyway.

Just had a Java update, then it says the Edge browser doesn't support plug ins and switch to another browser.

Java & javascript are two different things. Java, I do have java but never use it for software like OpenOffice/azeureus/limewire etc... but do I need it, I'm with the rest I wouldn't install it.

Well because the Edge doesn't support plugins PDF files are opened in the Edge, not Acrobat reader when you set it to the default PDF reader. You can of course save the file and open with Adobe. I find it annoying.

I find it annoying. I don't use it much the main reason is i don't like the layout and it's not very customizable, maybe in time they will improve the look of Edge.

I don't mind it, its just when small things like that show up I cant be doing with it.
