Has it was mentioned about the update coming I had a look but couldn't see it, so it's tomorrow now good, probably better not being mixed with the others.

Well, yesterday afternoon I upgraded Windows 10 with the Threshold update. From the very start to the end, including MS`s introduction, it took about three and a half hours. This was the download, the installation, then the file upgradings, installing features and drivers then configuring the settings. The last three items taking quite some time in themselves. Anyway, I now have Windows 10 Home, version 1511,10586. All appears to be working well.

Done the update it took just over 2 hours and everything went OK, it says there is some new features but I can't find the soddin things. The Edge browser deffo seems a bit faster since the update but a couple of my favourite sites have gone AWOL including "The Squatters".

I have to agree that for such a large upgrade there is not much improved difference to be noticed. Edge is a no-no for me as I use Pale Moon as my default browser and also use Windows Live Mail instead of the new Mail. However, there are a few new additional apps in the Start menu which I will have a closer look at. So much for all the hype about this upgrade.

I thought it was going to be all bells and whistles.
The new apps in the start menu e.g Messaging, Phone and the Sway thing will never get used by me and IMO are a waste of space and resources.

Jal, have you not had the upgrade offered under Windows Updates yet? If not, try a manual Check for updates.
