Yep its added the bug when updated. I have deleted speed launcher using CCleaner. But I tried deleting with WP but it came back, I even deleted the reg entry but it adds it.

have you had a look in Ccleaner Tools/Start up/Scheduled tasks
is it listed in to run

Nob, do what I did years ago, remove Adobe reader and then download and install 'Foxit Reader' It does everything that Adobe Reader does without any hassle, and it has a smaller footprint! Fixed filehippo.com/download_foxit

Got rid of Adobe reader and downloaded SumatraPdf. Reading online Foxit is going the same way as Adobe. Will see how it goes.

Thanks guys for the info on that, I was having the same trouble but hadn't a clue what was going on. I shall uninstall adobe reader and try the other one. I didnt even know there were alternatives. Cheers

Just as a matter of interest chaps, where is the best place for downloading sumatra. It looks as if I can get it from file hippo sourceforge or cnet, and I know some are safer than others.cheers
