As above, now I read that Spitfire has been banned from the Squatters. Here's his post on WU:
Indeed the scrolling banner at the top says " Sanctuary for the banned ".
Obviously that's just a gimmick!

Nope, not a gimmick, just a typo. (Nob is a terrible speller) The banner should read.."Sanctuary for the band" Ratae, drummer and vocalist with the 'Squatters Temperance Quintet'  |

Yep..to be fair, you've always been a diamond fella Nob.  Anyway....perhaps it's time that I cleared summat up once and for all!(I thought this was obvious)  That scrolling banner does of course refer to those banned from the now defunct C/A forums (aka t'other place). It definitely does not include folks banned from (a) 'keeping dogs'...(b) 'Mumsnet'.....(c) 'The gay/lesbian/transgender crochet club' or as in Smudger's case 'Anywhere near the female student hockey team changing rooms' 
Or for that matter, anywhere else! Capiche |

Yep, we had an influx of new posters after C/A closed down. Few of them stayed! Hmmm.....my theory is, they were scared off by the superior intellect and high degree of political wisdom like wot most of the regular members here have...........innit? |
