If you thought our last day has been stressful, the last two hours have exceeded that. My GP eventually phoned at 5pm and has agreed to give me cortisone injection tomorrow, then I phoned talktalk in the Philippines where Michael informed me it was 10 past midnight, but 1am before we had finished. Then I had to photograph umpteen baby items to email to someone interested. Phew!. Hope they don't want to come and view them tonight.

He was this dark skinned fellow probably West Indian and he used to go to all the horse race meetings around the country dressed in a outfit with a feathered headress shouting I've got a horse, I've got a horse, and the racing fraternity used to pay him some money for his selection, he was a very popular and well respected man at all the race meetings.
The last Lincolnshire Handicap run over the straight mile was held at Lincoln in 1965 if my memory serves me well,as I was there and I'm pretty certain he was there then.

According to that he died in 1965 so it must have been the year before 64 that I saw him a very colourful charactor.

I too saw him outside Britannia Pier in Gt Yarmouth. There were scores of people round him
