Cheaper to buy pillow cases and fill them with earth.
Or not building on flood plains would be even cheaper in the long run.
Craig.

When we can send Billions in Aid to other countries, it's disgusting even to suggest having to pay for sandbags to stop flooding.

Hi Dinky The idea should never have been thought of in the first place But people will remember when it comes to the little X time. JJ Just as long as they remember it was the council that was charging for them, not the government, and as soon as the government found out they, the council, got a flea in their ear and a promise of a cheque in the post so what has the little x time got to do with it? I didn't know local council elections were in the offing.

I think it's the LibDems that run the council down there innit? That will give the electorate summat to think about when the time comes.

Most of the muppets in parliament down here are either conmen of fib dums. Cannot think of any that are from Wallace and Grommit's party though there are a few in Devon and Plymouth just tother side of the Tamar.
