Funny innit Ratae, you have a small attachment and there's no problem. Can't understand what women moan at.  Ah! I understand your problem now Arch with the attachment thingy, there is a size limit on attachments here, unlike posting one from a p/b link y'see. That's why I'm forced to reduce the actual size by a huge margin innit. Nob, that link you posted just says 'save file' there's no image shown. It was a desktop shortcut Arch not an image I just tried to see if it would work. |

every time I've posted today, I get the message "you can't post twice in 2 seconds' First time I clicked create post again and found it had posted twice, now I'm just ignoring it. Wish they would stop messing with things

I used to get that Anne.Since I have changed to creating the post whilst in the "preview" mode and then clicking on the "leave this page" in the box that follows I dont get duplication any more

And now for something completely different?
Nob when I tried to log into the Squatters this morn all I got was a page saying access denied Error 1007 and beside that a note saying the owner of proboards ***** has banned access from an IP address number, presumably mine.
I knew I had written a post yesterday afternoon saying Maggie was OK and it was Scargill that had shut the pits but that post is not showing now and even I didn't think you'd ban me for calling king Arthur a minging git.
Anyway I restored my PC and I found I was unbanned but only after I Googled "error 1007". It means a lot of things but the words access denied weren't on the list.
Since I haven't any drinkers E-mail addresses I couldn't even check why I was banned.
I thought I'd ratarse's address in my address book, probably have, but what name it's under God only knows.

Quite true Smudger, as a matter of fact only this morning I got an email from God, he asked me if that Oirish prat at the Squatters was for real. I had to chide him a little and told him that it was him that made you like that so it wasn't fair for him to to call you names. He said "furry muff" Rats, but just keep an eye on the prat or I'll have to ban him from proboards. Seems he's fired a warning shot innit. Ratae the chosen one. |

I clicked a link and got this, copied and pasted. "http://thesquattersarms.proboards.com/ Error 1006, 1007 & 1008 Access Denied: Your IP address has been banned

That Whois link is useless.
I found I could access the Squatters normally using Safe mode but that is without any sort of protection so not really practical.
I'm back here now because I restored my PC again, the same as I did yesterday to download the squatters.
It only seems to be the 1st Squatters download of the day uses the no access blame nob notice
because I can leave Opera and when I reload it the Squatters is accessed normally
Has anybody any idea as to what is going wrong?

Peter, probably not related to your problem, but if you are still on WinXP then take note...
I just copied the following text from the Microsoft website:
" Support for Windows XP is ending on April 8, 2014. If you're running this version after support ends, you won't get security updates for Windows."
