..... Strangely enough, I don't have a problem with the man, 'cos he at least sticks to his principles, even though they are totally wrong. I felt the same about Tony Benn, although he at least was absolutely against the EU, which was about the only thing that I agreed with him on!  What I am aware of however, is that it's easy for whichever party is in opposition. They never have to justify anything because they aren't accountable. Just look at labour on immigration and the ECHR, they were responsible for all of that, but apparently, according to them UKIP have it wrong!  Strange days indeed.

Peter,when are you going to wake up to the fact that while ever Cameron and Osborne are at the helm of the Tory party they are doomed to fail. Who is to physically stop us?. Contrary to what Nob says"shut the doors" how can I when there are so many drinkers living in a world of their own? Lets face the facts there are more MPs in the Commons that want to remain in the EU than there are MPs wanting to get out of EU administration. How the hell you can blame Cameron for that beggars belief but then this is mainly, apart from  mainly a left wing forum. Phil get a grip do you think the majority of EU loving MPs will actually pass a Commons motion that will give the EU the option of throwing us out. Phil how do you know that? How big a part does Britain play in the EU? Can the EU survive without the UK? Take a major fund contributer away and all these newly adopted "poor" countries will have a smaller pool of money to be welcomed with. The problem here is most drinkers can't see past the end of their nose and realise Cameron can get us the Common Market back again. If you disagree tell me why with facts |
