Whats the Vodaphone signal like there? 3G does take a time to download things. Is it connected to 3G and Vodaphone or is the page just a splash screen for the device? You maybe need to check any firewall settings to let it past. other than that ive never used one so maybe call Vodaphone for help or their website forum.
Let us know what it was either way.

I live 15 miles west of London with 3 masts equidistant from me, each about 400 metres away. It's like being at the centre of a hub. 3G is ess-aitch-one-tee. HSDPA (which I believe is just a refinement of 3G) is fine. I'm on Vodafone's network too. Check to see whether the device is set to switch standards automatically, if so- it may be on the border between the two standards and is constantly changing over and getting no where fast. It also depends a great deal on the antenna. The lappy probably has a comparitively larger antenna shoe horned inside. The single antenna is more like a dummy load in comparison. There's loads more, eg, MTU settings, but you'd need to Google howto and adjust your router to suit. Probably best not to go there, but I had to with Nationwide BS. online banking. Keep your router away from cordless 'phones etc. Change channel on the router. Channels share bandwidth so you want a couple clear channels between you and your neighbours. It may be just as simple as trying again later (perhaps tomorrow) Good luck.

If it works on others plug it into the one its for and go into device manager, it will show probably with a triangle. Click uninstall. Then remove it reboot and plug it in, it should find the drivers and install again. See if that works. There is a yellow triangle on the top picture, right click and what error message does it give?
Daft question but there is enough cash on to cover the data download? I cant see the info on the picture.
Try with all scanners on the lappy turned off, Anti virus etc. If its specific to that lappy them something on it is stopping the download. You did the firewall so it aint that.
